Boliviandando and community solidarity tourism

The underlying idea of the Boliviandando project is to promote community-based tourism in Bolivia, both domestically and internationally. The platform enables the participating rural and indigenous communities to offer visitors the opportunity to experience cultural exchange and the local heritage according to a unique approach. It features a solidarity-based management model, sustainable both socially and economically, and whose aim is to complement the traditional economic activities of the communities and ensure the development of the areas concerned by enhancing, promoting and preserving their natural and cultural heritage. A key tool for tourists to plan their trip and learn about community tourism destinations in Bolivia.
