The rocky outcrop that dominates Santiago de Okola, on the shores of Lake Titicaca, looks like a fantastic dragon guarding the waters of the Sacred Lake.
A cycle path to Santiago de Okola, where the local community will welcome us into their homes and proudly show us the cultural and natural treasures of the area.
A descent from the mountains surrounding Lake Titicaca, at an altitude of about 4,300 meters, down to the shores of the lake, to experience a high-powered but stress-free adventure, enjoying the beautiful landscapes that unfold around us along the way. Once in Santiago de Okola, we will have time to visit the Dragon Dormido, the famous hill which, with its extraordinary profile, makes this area one of the most representative of the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca. Here we'll be hosted by members of the community, people who maintain their traditional lifestyle and customs, who will offer us their homes for lunch, dinner and an unforgettable night.
By participating in this activity you will support local jobs while respecting the natural environment of the communities and the lake.
