Framed by a beautiful landscape, La Cabaña Unión Community Hostel is the best choice for spending some unforgettable time in Luribay.
The warm welcome and the attention of the community members will make you feel at home; the walks and the organised activities will make you get into tune with the spirit of nature.
The Cabaña Unión Turismo Rural association was established with the aim of developing the tourism industry in Luribay and opening up new horizons for the sustainable economic development of the community. Located not far from the main square of Luribay, the association runs a community hostel with double and triple rooms where travellers are always welcome.
From the hostel you can admire views of the lush landscape of the Luribay Valley, with its vineyards and orchards renowned throughout Bolivia. The rooms overlook a vibrantly colourful garden full of flowers on one side, and the majestic Laurani Hill on the other, which, with its unmistakable profile, is a natural landmark of Luribay.
In addition to enjoying the surrounding landscape, guests at the Cabaña Unión Hostel can also enjoy the typical cuisine of the area. At breakfast, jams and local fruit juices accompany the bread baked in clay ovens by members of the community. There are also delicious desserts like queques, similar to muffins, and jawis, sweet potato cakes served with a cream made with egg whites, or other specialties, for the lovers of savoury food.
At lunchtime you can sit outside in the garden and enjoy baked rabbit or guinea pig, suckling pig or roast chicken, accompanied by the typical huminta, made with shelled and cooked corn.
Spend a few days with us at the Cabaña Unión community hostel to enjoy the typical produce and convivial atmosphere of Luribay: write to us for more information and to organise your trip.
