Wine and singani are the main attractions of Luribay. Discover all the secrets of their production at one of the best wineries in the area.
The warm hospitality of the locals welcomes visitors to Bodega La Viña, where you can taste excellent wines and enjoy beautiful views.
Wine production in Luribay is a very old tradition dating back to the arrival of the Spanish conquerors. After decades of neglect, the inhabitants of the Luribay Vallery are gradually reopening their wineries and promoting wine growing and winemaking once again.
This new development is especially visible at the Bodega La Viña (The Vineyard) winery, in the community of Collpani, now part of the Artisanal Wine and Singani Route of Luribay, which explores the deep knowledge the locals have of the different grape varieties, the processes of adaptation of the vines to the environment and the production of craft wines, according to ancient traditional methods.
A visit to the Bodega La Viña winery, on the Luribay Wine Route, is a great opportunity to discover the secrets of winemaking through the voices of the wine growers and to admire the tools of the trade: earthenware jugs, wooden barrels, glass demijohns and other traditional utensils which are still used to this day. At the end of the tour, the crowning event is the unmissable wine tasting session, in the cosy ambience of the cellar, with a magnificent view of the vineyards.
A unique opportunity for all lovers of winemaking and its traditions! Write to us to organise your trip to discover the best grapes of Luribay.
