For much of the year the warm valley of Luribay is tinged with the colours of the fruit trees in its orchards.
The Pedro Alvarado orchard exploits the region's marvellous climate and environmental conditions to offer visitors to this enchanting place the best fruits and vegetables.
Pedro Alvarado's orchard is located at Pisco, in the municipality of Luribay, and is part of the Farm Tourism Route. Farmers here grow prickly pears and peaches, as well as vegetables such as beans, tomatoes and lettuce.
To learn how this fertile land produces healthy and tasty organic food you can visit the farms accompanied by local guides, who illustrate the plants and their natural methods of cultivation and where you can also taste the freshly harvested fruits.
During the harvest months, the locals have a custom of getting up at dawn to eat the fruit long before breakfast, when it is still very fresh.
Contact us to spend a day in the company of Luribay's orchard gardeners and taste the fresh and juicy fruit they grow picked straight from the trees.
